The company was formed as a partnership in 1988 and incorporated in 1991. Company officers are James F. Pyer, president, and Robert R. Jacobs, chief financial officer. They respectively came to the company in 1989 & 1990 and became co-owners in 1996.
Model Appraisal Services was organized to perform unbiased and sound determinations of real estate values and is guided by the highest ethical standards and confidentiality.

We advocate the best interests of our clients and require our appraisers to understand and keep abreast of the most recent market conditions and all local nuances affecting values and marketability. All our appraisals are prepared in accordance with the UNIFORM STANDARDS OF PROFESSIONAL APPRAISAL PRACTICE (USPAP).
Model's appraisers are FULL TIME professionals and are licensed and/or certified in both New Hampshire and Vermont.
An appraisal is an objective, supported opinion of the value of an adequately described piece of property, made by one person who has sufficient knowledge and experience to accurately estimate its value.

The corporate office is centrally located in Manchester, NH, with branch offices located in West Lebanon, NH, and Keene, NH.
Appraisal services are available throughout all of New Hampshire and in five eastern counties in Vermont. Other areas are available on an individual quote basis.
The firm holds memberships in the New Hampshire Association of Realtors, Mortgage Bankers Association of New Hampshire, Chamber of Commerce, Employee Relocation Council and the Northern New England Real Estate Network.
